Did not come with any documentation, directions, specifications whatsoever. I built a homemade system with this product. Just had to buy oil, plumbing fittings, and belts of course. Was packaged nicely too. I'm running it off a 220v HB 3 horse motor and into a.5' hose to a 20 gallon tank teed off with.375 to another 20 gallon tank; controlled with a square D box. Pumps up in 6 minutes and I can have a conversation right next to it! Incredibly quiet and very happy it.
I built an equivalent to a several-thousand dollar machine for 400 bucks all-in! If it quits, I will definitely press re-order on this one. Installed as a replacement pump on a Craftsman (Devilbiss) 5 hp 30 gallon horizontal compressor.

Installation was fairly easy although two short sections of 1.5' angle iron were required to adapt the hole pattern to the mounting pad on the compressor. Also had to purchase a different drive pulley as the original pulley setup was a ribbed belt. This unit has a 'A' pattern V-belt. I searched the internet for a calculator to give me the diameter needed to match the max compressor speed to the freewheel speed of the 5 hp motor. You will need to know the diameter of the compressor flywheel (in this case 12'), the center to center distance of the motor shaft to the compressor shaft, the freewheel motor speed, and the desired compressor speed.
The calculator will tell you what pulley size for the motor (in my case 3.5' with a 5/8' shaft).
